Intention (SMART Goal)

By Jan. 13 as a cinematographer, I will have evidence of Dynamic Camera Movements by Following 4 camera Movements Every Filmmaker Needs to Know for session 3.

PRE-PRODUCTION – INQUIRY

Leader(s) in the Field / Exemplary Work(s)

Training Source(s)

4 camera Movements every Filmmaker

1. 4:15 The faster the motion the more abrupt, stylized and impactful it becomes

2. 4:25 Moving into a character close up make it feel like you’re getting inside the character’s head

3. 4:32 The camera is literally drawing you into their world

4. 4:48 The pull-out works in an almost inverse way. Instead of pushing in closer to the mind of the character, we pull away from them and become increasingly detached

5. 5:40 A tracking shot kind of speaks for itself

6. 6:36 Like with panning and tilting, this movement can be motivated, based on the movement of the characters
